The first use of para is for talking about the ‘purpose’ of an item, or in other words, it’s intended use.
English: This music is for relaxing. (This music is made in order to relax).
Español: Esta música es para relajarse.
English: This soil is good for the plants.
Español: Este suelo es bueno para las plantas.
English: This water is not for drinking.
Español: Esta agua no es para beber.
